Weldon Patterson recently attended the Teachers Law School held at the federal courthouse in Chattanooga. The two-day event brought together educators from across Tennessee and North Georgia for an in-depth look at how the U.S. Constitution applies to both criminal and civil law.

The program, presented by the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) in partnership with the Federal Bar Association, featured attorneys, prosecutors, and judges who shared insights that teachers can bring back to their classrooms to help students better understand the justice system.

Patterson (pictured 2nd from the right), a past president of the Tennessee chapter of ABOTA, joined fellow past and current chapter presidents at the event. The Teachers Law School program has been widely recognized for its success in strengthening civic education and promoting a deeper understanding of constitutional principles among students.
