Reality Star Sued Over Dog Bite at Tennessee Home

Reality TV star Kristin Cavallari and former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler are being sued over an alleged dog bite in Williamson County last year.

Nathan Beam was installing cable and satellite at a property in Franklin, TN in June 2020 when he was allegedly bitten by one of the couple's two German Shepherds. He claims neither dog was restrained and that following the incident Cavallari's assistant handed him a paper towel to stop the bleeding and told him he should leave immediately.

The personal injury lawsuit alleges that Mr. Beam has visible disfigurement and serious painful injuries and seeks damages for medical expenses, loss of wages, permanent impairment, and emotional distress. The lawsuit cites social media posts by Cavallari using the hashtags #TrainedKiller as evidence that she knew the dogs were dangerous and should therefore have had them restrained. This would negate the 'one bite' rule for dog bite.
